
Willie Morrow, the Founder, was born in Eutaw, Alabama. Dr. Willie Morrow was vocationally trained as a barber and hair stylist in California. Dr. Morrow was self-educated behind his barber and beauty chair. Dr. Morrow’s many accomplishments encompass the realms of hair stylist, author, researcher, teacher, collectable historian, product formulator, thus making him the most quoted and notable hair stylist of our time. Dr. Willie Morrow has taught black hair care on four continents: America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. To his credit, Dr. Morrow has amassed more patents, inventions, and product formulations than any other hair stylist in history.

Carved the first African pick comb in the United States for the Afro hairdo, and Civil Rights Activist Movement in 1962.
Wrote the first Black Barber textbook in 1965.
1965 - Set up the first Hair Product Lab for formulation.
1966 - Engineered the first plastic injection molded combs.
1969 - Contracted to train military barbers, beauticians, and cosmetic counter personnel worldwide.
1971 - Introduced the first California Curl/cold waver for curly hair to the military.
1971 - Authored the first Black Barber and Beauty History book entitled 400 years without a comb.
1971 - Authored the first combination Barber and Beauty book.
1976 - Established San Diego Monitor Newspaper
1989- Introduced the first technology to take the Cold Wave Curl from wet based- to dry based for Sally Beauty Supply/Alberto Culver USA
1992 – Revision of barber, beauty, and history textbooks for the beauty industry.
1993 – Took an entourage to Dakar, Senegal, West Africa to install the 400 Hundred Years Without A Comb Collection exhibit in the Women’s Museum on the Island of Gorѐe.
2004 – Established the Black History Museum that exhibits and encompasses the entire realm of beauty instruments used to establish the black hair care beauty industry, dating back to those tools and instruments which were used as far as 300 years ago.
2007 – Created the safest relaxer system called California Green Texture Enhancer
