Eva Williams is widely recognized as “Eva the Style Diva” in the beauty industry. With over 40 years as a professional hairstylist, she has traveled across the United States, refining her skills and mastering multiple facets of the trade. While proudly acknowledged as a Black hairstylist, her commitment to continuous education and staying ahead of industry trends has enabled her to serve a diverse clientele across various racial and ethnic backgrounds with confidence and expertise.
Beyond the salon chair, Eva has passionately shared her knowledge through educational classes, offering insight into product usage, hair structure, and advanced hairstyling techniques. Her teaching has taken her from major beauty show stages to intimate classroom settings, where she has mentored and inspired aspiring and working cosmetologists alike.
From these experiences, Eva recognized a critical gap in traditional cosmetology education—particularly in business development, career sustainability, and comprehensive knowledge of all hair types, including textured hair. This realization led her to develop The EVA Method, a structured system designed to bridge the gap between technical skill and real-world success.
Through The EVA Method, Eva empowers cosmetologists to build confidence behind the chair, understand the science of hair (including pH and structure), strengthen client relationships, and create sustainable, long-term careers. What began as a passion for teaching has evolved into a transformative approach to education, positioning Eva as not only a seasoned stylist, but a leader and innovator dedicated to elevating the next generation of beauty professionals.
